About Us

OnTrack Raceway opened in 2018 to provide R/C racers on the Gulf Coast a place for indoor carpet racing. The Mobile area is notorious for rainy weather, and racers on the Gulf Coast are no strangers to being rained out on race days. Rain or shine, we’re racing.

We welcome both new and experienced racers to come check out our racing program.  Our racers come from all different backgrounds and age ranges. If you’re interested in getting started in R/C racing, the best way is to come check out a club race, talk to some racers, and see what it’s all about.

For our Thursday night races:

Entry fees are $10 per class. We typically limit racing on Thursday night to select classes. Please check the monthly schedule to see which classes run on each weeknight.

Doors open at  3PM for practice and setup.
Racing typically starts around 7PM. Please arrive before 6:30PM for registration and to setup your pit. 
Racing usually wraps up between 8:30PM and 9:00PM depending on the number of racers and classes.

For our regular weekend club races:

Entry fees for your first class are $25 for non-members and $20 for members.
Then it’s $15 for the second class and $10 for each additional class after that for both non-members and members.

Doors usually open at noon for practice and setup.
Please plan to arrive before at least one hour before racing starts for registration and to setup your pit. Be sure to check the schedule for up-to-date details!
Racing generally starts around 1pm and usually wraps up around 5-6 hours after start time depending on the number of racers and classes.

Although we have a limited number of handout transponders for rent, we recommend that racers provide their own. Handouts are first come, first serve and need to be returned at the end of the day. Transponder rental cost is $10 per transponder per day. Our rental transponders are a rent-to-buy program where racers purchase a transponder after a 9 rentals. We use MyLaps RC4 transponders (AMB/2-wire/3-wire/MRT mPTX) for scoring.

Membership

Membership is not required to practice or race at OnTrack Raceway. Membership provides racers with a permanent reserved pit spot where they can leave their R/C gear, as well as free practice. Membership is $75/month, which is auto-billed. Membership pit spots are limited to currently available space.

R/C Car Rentals

We have a limited number of TT01 touring cars available to rent. Rentals are available on practice days at a rate of $15 per 10 minutes of runtime.
